Intragastric Balloon
Intragastric balloon placement is a clinically accepted tool that can help you lose weight and get the figure you’ve been dreaming of. Certain clinical trials have shown that intragastric balloon placement is more successful than conventional diets or weight loss programs.
During the procedure, your physician will place a silicone balloon into your stomach through the mouth, then inflate it using saline. Much like other weight loss procedures, this helps limit how much you can eat, helping you feel full faster. Once the balloon is inflated, it remains as a free-floating object, too big to pass through the pylorus, and can remain in place for up to six months.
