Fertility Treatment Financing

For couples considering having a child, IVF and other fertility treatments can assist those who haven’t been able to achieve pregnancy naturally. Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer (GIFT)

Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer, or GIFT, combines the egg and sperm outside the body then places them immediately into the woman's fallopian tubes, where fertilization then takes place.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a common fertility treatment program in which eggs are surgically removed from the woman's ovaries, then fertilized with sperm outside the body in a glass dish. If fertilization is successful, the eggs are reimplanted in the uterus several days later.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection is a technique in which a single sperm is injected into the woman's egg, increasing the chances of pregnancy.

Partial Zona Dissection (PZD)

PZD is a micro-manipulation technique, in which the surrounding shell of the woman’s egg is opened to make it easier for sperm to enter and fertilization to occur.

Subzonal Insemination (SUZI)

The SUZI technique also involves opening the shell of the woman's egg. In this case, sperm is directed into the region between the zona and the egg.

Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer (ZIFT)

A Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer is another type of In Vitro Fertilization, in which a fertilized egg which has not yet divided is inserted into the fallopian tube.
