Breast Lift
A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a procedure to lift and reshape breasts which have sagged or deflated due to nursing, aging or gravity. During breast lift surgery, incisions are made around the areola and down the front of the breast. The surgeon will then lift and reshape the breasts, and move the areola to the correct position on the new breast shape. Before closing the incisions, the surgeon will remove any extra skin, giving the breasts a more firm appearance. Surgeons will usually try to make incisions in parts of the breasts where they will be less visible.
