Buttock Lift

Buttock augmentation, more commonly referred to as a butt lift, improves the shape, lift and roundness of the buttocks, as well as the added benefit on toning and tightening the upper thighs. Butt lifts can be done in one of two ways:

A traditional butt lift involves tightening the area of skin above the buttocks, thus lifting the buttocks, without adding any volume to the area. During the procedure, your surgeon will make an incision along the lower back, from hip to hip. The extra skin will be pulled up, and reattached. The extra skin and fat is then surgically removed.

The second method, known as a Brazilian butt lift, involves inserting fat injections, or occasionally artificial implants or a combination of both, into the buttock area to increase roundness and fullness. The fat injections used come from fat liposuctioned from other areas of the body, such as your hips, thighs and stomach. The fat stores are purified, then injected into specific areas in the buttocks to give a fuller, more round appearance. Finally, the liposuction and injection incisions are closed.
