How do I apply?

It’s easy to apply for Credit Medical financing. Simply fill out the online application form, or call us at 1-800-270-9290 and one of our representatives can help you fill out an application.

Is there a fee to apply?

No! There’s no cost for submitting your Credit Medical application.

What types of medical procedures does Credit Medical financing cover?

Credit Medical financing covers any elective procedure, as well as medically-related items such as braces or prostheses. You can find out more about some of the procedures which are covered on our Procedures page, or Contact Us for more information.

What happens after my loan application is submitted?

Your application will be considered based on your personal financial information and a credit assessment will be made. Usually, you’ll receive an automated answer and/or response from one of our representatives within the same business day if we require further information.

How and when is payment issued for my procedure?

Credit Medical will send payment directly to your Doctor or Clinic,  between 1 and 4 weeks prior to the date of your procedure, depending on your physician’s request.

How do I make payments towards my loan?

During the application process, you will be asked to connect your banking information, or in some cases to send a VOID cheque to Credit Medical. Your account will be automatically debited in equal and affordable amounts, according to the terms of your loan.

Will my interest rate fluctuate or change?

No. Our competitive interest rates are fixed throughout the full term of your loan.

Will I need to make a down payment to borrow?

No down payments or collateral are necessary for your loan. All you will need is an established credit history in good standing.

Can I pay out my loan before the end of term?

Yes! All Credit Medical loans are fully open, and can be paid out at any time before the end of term without any penalties.

Can I still be pre-approved for financing if I haven’t chosen a doctor or procedure date?

Yes! We can pre-approve your loan before you see your doctor or choose a procedure date. You can also consult our Physician Finder to help find a doctor or clinic in your area offering the procedure you are considering.

Can I borrow a portion of the procedure cost?

Yes! Credit Medical will finance a minimum of $1000, and send payment directly to your physician, usually between 1 and 4 weeks prior to your procedure.

Can I still get financing if my doctor is not registered with Credit Medical?

Yes! Just let us know if your chosen doctor or clinic is not registered with Credit Medical. We will get in contact with them, inform them of our financing services and provide them with the information they need to register with us, at no cost to your doctor or clinic of choice.

Why is Credit Medical better than using my credit card or line of credit?

Financing with Credit Medical doesn’t tie up your credit, giving you the freedom to spend as your normally would. Our loans have fixed terms and payment amounts unlike credit cards that have compound interest.

Are there any tax benefits?

The cost of your procedure may qualify as a medical expense on your income tax return. Please consult your individual state or province’s tax authority to see if you are eligible.

Can I apply with a co-borrower if I do not have a credit history?

Yes! Your co-borrower’s credit history is eligible for approval, and they would also assume liability for the loan. Please note that you must first apply for your loan before your co-borrower submits a co-borrower application.

What type of loan does Credit Medical offer?

Credit Medical offers fully-open Personal Term Loans of up to $20,000, with repayment terms of up to 60 months.

Will Credit Medical require any supporting documents?

Once your application is pre-approved, we will require valid, government-issued photo ID, proof of income and employment, and verification of banking information to support your application.
